Fun at Boondocks!

This weekend Mike, Paige, Allison, and our friend Jim went to Boondocks for Trav's twins birthday party. I was glad they were able to get out and have some fun outside before the weather changed. It was in the 70's on Saturday and it is snowing today!!

They had a great time and I was sad to miss it.  I had to go to work instead.

Allison is Eight Months Old!!

Our baby is eight months old today. She is getting so big, I can hardly believe it! For those of you who don't see Alli on a regular basis here are some things about her.
-Allison is the only morning person in this household. She wakes up early and wakes up happy. I'm not sure how this happened, but we are dealing with it.
-Alli loves to smile and laugh. If you are not paying attention to her she will stare at you until you look at her and then reward you with a big smile.
-Alli loves her big sister. She watches Paige very closely. Paige can always get her to smile.
-She is not quite crawling, but she is creeping.... backwards.
-Alli loves to cuddle when she is tired. She loves to bury her head in her daddy's chest.
-She loves playing patty cake.
-Because she can't move where she wants she sits and flaps her arms. I think she may take off soon.
-She laughs when she is told no. This could be very bad.
-She is loved very, very much!

Weekend Pics

This weekend Mike's mom and our friend Jim stayed with us.  We had a great time.  It was nice to see both of them again.  Jim hadn't seen Allison since August and Ellen last saw her in November.  She has changed so much over the last couple of months.  

Jim is a great photographer and took some pictures of the kids while he was here.  Here are some of my favorites.  

Paige kept both of them busy at the playgrounds.  It was also Ellen's birthday.  Happy Birthday Grandma EJ!

Allison's six months pics

So this is a little late considering Alli turned seven months on the 22nd.  We were a little late getting to our photographer and it takes her a couple of weeks to edit them.  They turned out so good.  She does an awesome job with Alli.  Hopefully they will be up on her website soon (family pictures link).  Here are a couple of my favorites.

Best Buddies

I love this picture!  Mike and I were talking one day and we looked over and saw this.  I had to get a picture of it.  Abby is really good with Alli.  Abby will bring her dog toys to Alli and drop them in her lap.  Then she waits for Alli to grab them and gently pulls on it.  When Alli lets go Abby starts all over again.  It's pretty cute.

She is such a gentle dog and she loves to cuddle.  She also loves following Paige around and chewing up her Littlest Pet Shops.

The other day RJ was not having a great day and decided to play Alli's other growling video, which made her laugh. RJ, here is more video just in case you need it.  It's really funny, but she growled at a lady in Target the other day.  The lady told Alli she looked so cute all dressed in pink.  Alli just looked up her and growled. Kind of embarrassing. You should have seen the look on her face.  It's hard to believe that she can make such a deep sound.  

She looks so sweet and innocent, and then she growls.....

My baby is 6 months old!

Allison is six months old today!  We had her check up yesterday and she is doing great.  She is now 15 pounds 3 ounces and 25.75 inches long. Her doctor said she is sitting up like a 9 month old baby.  She also has her bottom two teeth.  They broke through last week, finally.  It was a week of moaning and chewing on everything.  Oh, lots of drooling too.  I have been trying to get a picture of them,but she wont hold still long enough or her tongue is in the way.  We have another photo session with the photographer for 6 months so we should have some more great pics soon.  Maybe she can get them.
